Quilt Notes: Wisconsin Prep: The Final Few Miles — And You’re Invited…

Welcome Friends A new week in the BAQ studio is about to begin. I hope you are all enjoying this deepest part of summer. Family, friends, cookouts, picnics, all the fun... In all transparency, I took a day off from Wisconsin prep on Saturday. After weeks of filming, designing, printing, packaging, and planning, I could feel myself running low on steam. So Dave and I stepped away for a bit — errands, lunch, visited my hometown's 150th Celebration — and it gave me exactly the breath I needed before these final few miles. Friends, good food and fun never fails to refresh. Now, with new energy, the studio is in full motion.

The Studio Is Filling Up With Wisconsin Inventory

The work tables have transformed into a true production space. Boxes are open, materials are being sorted, and the first waves of Wisconsin inventory are taking shape. You’ll see stacks of cards, packaging supplies, fabric kits, color guides, and all the little pieces that will come together to build our tiny Wisconsin home- Booth #422.

Workshop - Products in Process

One of the biggest upgrades this week has been the new packaging for our latest product line — a beautifully designed instruction pamphlet in our brand colors. It looks polished, and fills the packaging cleanly. You’ll see it in action at the Pre-Launch Party on Saturday and at the Great Wisconsin Quilt show, and I can’t wait to finally share it with you. I'm not good at secrets and I'm ready to explode with excitement.

There is also a new bag sealer to be used for a couple of products and we are getting ready to test it today, too — another small but mighty step that will make everything look crisp and ready.

Holiday Collection, New Designs, and Fall Releases

Holiday Collection Cards

The Holiday Collection cards arrived, and they are absolutely beautiful. Several other product lines are coming together at the same time, and the studio feels like a quilt shop in motion: fabric, cards, kits, packaging, tools, and color guides all working together toward one big goal.

These are the final few miles before Wisconsin, and they’re full of momentum.
