Quilt Notes- The After Party... And Onto Wisconsin 026 2026

Happy Sunday, friends —

We had such a lovely time with you yesterday at the Pre‑Launch Party. It was a bright, happy way to wrap up the summer and step into this next chapter for Build A Quilt. If you weren’t able to join us live, the replay is already being enjoyed — and you can watch it anytime on the Videos or What’s New section of the website, or on our YouTube channel.

We ready to go in our new BAQ tees.

And before we go any further… How do you like our BAQ tees? (you can see them fully on the video replay).  Dave and I had fun wearing them yesterday — would you wear one? We’re thinking about offering them later this year and would love to know what you think.

Yesterday I also shared the little party banner I made for the event — each letter of “B‑A‑Q” created from one of our BAQ block designs. We also had fun with trivia, and you’ll definitely want to see how well Dave answered the questions with absolutely no prep from me. He’s really becoming a quilter in his own right, and it was such a sweet moment to share with all of you.

Quilters’ Showcase — What’s Coming to Wisconsin

During the party, we walked through the new products that will be debuting at the Wisconsin Quilt Show, and I’m so excited to bring these into the 3D world for the very first time.

Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

  • The Basic 6 Boxed Set   Complete with our brand‑new Fabric Cut Sheet Cards for easy access at your cutting area, the Starter Fabric Set, and the BAQ USB holding all the files.

  • The New 7‑Design Stitchlet Set   Perfect for any level stitcher — especially those who love quick or smaller projects.

  • The Essentials Line   Our stabilizer and thread sets curated specifically for BAQ stitching. And there is more....

If you’d like the full walkthrough, be sure to catch the replay — I show everything in detail so you can see exactly what’s coming with us to Madison.

Share BAQ With Your Local Shops and Guilds

If you have a favorite quilt shop or belong to a local guild, we’d love for you to share BAQ with them. During the party, I showed our Teaching Information page on the website — it’s a great resource for shop owners and guild program chairs who want to bring BAQ classes, trunk shows, or boxed sets into their community. Your recommendation means the world to us and helps BAQ grow in the real, 3D quilting world.

Fall QAL — Coming This October

Our Fall Quilt‑Along is coming this October, and this year’s design has a fun twist: You can make not one, but three coordinated projects for a fully unified home‑decor set. I’ll be sharing more details soon, but trust me — this one is going to be a beautiful way to stitch through the season.

After the party wrapped up, Dave and I took a long drive out into the country for dinner, and we ended the evening with the most beautiful sunset. It felt like the perfect closing note to a full, meaningful day — a quiet reminder that big transitions often come with quiet beauty.

Thank you, truly, for your support. The After Party is complete… and now, onto Wisconsin. Quilt Life Beautiful...
